Overview

Welcome to Bordeaux, Monsieur Bacchus style: by bike, at a friendly pace, with a local who loves this city. In about 3 hours (13 km), we ride through UNESCO-listed streets, from the Roman Palais Gallien to the cathedral and the Grosse Cloche, then across the Pont de Pierre to the right bank of the Garonne. We take a break at Darwin, come back over the Chaban-Delmas bridge and finish through the Chartrons district. Along the way, you taste Bordeaux's iconic canelé from our artisan partner Cassonade. Our guides don't read a script: they share their stories, their favourite spots and their best tips. Where to eat tonight? Which wine bar is worth it? Just ask! Small groups, 12 guests max per guide, comfortable Dutch bikes and helmets included. No megaphone, no rush: just good company and a city to fall in love with.

This tour takes place on city streets alongside traffic, so we recommend riders who feel comfortable cycling in an urban environment. If you're unsure or haven't cycled recently, feel free to reach out — we're happy to help you decide if this tour is right for you.

Getting there: Public transport in Bordeaux can be unpredictable, so we recommend allowing extra travel time. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure — we offer a 5-minute grace period, but tours leave on schedule to respect everyone's time. Unfortunately, late arrivals, missed departures, and last-minute cancellations cannot be refunded.

E-bike & classic bike groups: If the minimum number of participants for a dedicated e-bike or classic bike group isn't reached, we may combine both into a single group. Don't worry — the route, the distance, the guides, and the fun stay exactly the same. It's not about the bike, it's about the experience.
